Kansas State athletic director John Currie admitted to having some differences with coach Frank Martin over the years. The two men didn’t always see eye to eye. One thing they agreed on Tuesday: There was no rift in their relationship. “John has been great,” Martin said during a conference call shortly after being introduced as the new coach at South Carolina.

K-State suspends Henriquez indefinitely (AP)

Kansas State coach Frank Martin has suspended junior forward Jordan Henriquez indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. Martin said Thursday that he and Henriquez will meet sometime next week and discuss his status. In the meantime, Henriquez will not practice with the 25th-ranked Wildcats (13-4, 2-3 Big 12).

No. 4 Baylor gets past K-State, now 16-0 (AP)

Baylor coach Scott Drew isn’t oblivious to criticism — no matter how spotless the record or high the ranking.
