Louisville wins 2nd Big East championship (Yahoo! Sports)

Rick Pitino has coached 10 teams to conference tournament championships in his 27 seasons in college basketball. No. 10 seemed to be especially sweet. Playing tenacious defense throughout and mustering just enough offense to hold off a closing run, Louisville gave Pitino his latest title with a 50-44 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday night in the Big East championship game.

Princeton tops Penn 62-52, Harvard wins Ivy League (Yahoo! Sports)

Hummer had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Princeton to a 62-52 victory over Pennsylvania on Tuesday night, giving Harvard the Ivy League title and its first NCAA tournament berth since 1946.

A year after stealing the Ivy League title from Harvard with a last-second shot, Princeton gave the Crimson the crown and an NCAA berth, and took no joy in doing it. Ian Hummer had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a 62-52 victory over Pennsylvania on Tuesday night, giving Harvard the league title and its first trip to the NCAA tournament since 1946.

Freshman Anthony Davis scored a career-high 28 points on 10-of-11 shooting, and No. 1 Kentucky beat Vanderbilt 83-74 on Saturday to win the Southeastern Conference regular season title for the 45th time. The Wildcats (28-1, 14-0) have won 51 straight at home and are on a 20-game winning streak overall.
